So, you wrote a book...

Now what will you do?

I’ve had a wild three weeks.

On March 31st, my first book was officially launched into the world. And the response has been incredible. In less than a month, Past Watchful Dragons has sold almost 4,000 copies.

Which is crazy.

It still doesn’t feel real.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has bought a copy. Y’all rock.

The best part of this entire journey is the excitement of the people who have made this book possible—my husband, my kids, parents, my siblings, my friends, the incredible staff at Word on Fire, my editor Haley and my illustrator Michelle.

This book has been many years in the making, and now that it’s here, I’ve found myself (and lots people) asking the same thing over and over:

Now what? What are you working on? What happens next?

That’s a great question.

Today, I’m enjoying this roller coaster of a dream come true. I’ve waited and worked almost twenty years for this moment.

But I’m also still a writer.

I’m always working on something.
